Parents/Guardians: We’re seeing an increase in flu and COVID-19 cases. Please monitor your child for symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, congestion, or fatigue. If your child is sick or showing symptoms, keep them home until they have been symptom-free for 24 hours without using medications to reduce or mask symptoms.

Note: Any parent notes used to excuse illness during January will NOT count toward the four allowed parent notes for the 2nd semester.

We are closely monitoring the forecast for a potential winter storm impacting Chambers County this weekend. If closures are necessary, we will notify families by phone and text.

🧼 Hand Hygiene: Remind kids to wash hands frequently, especially after eating, playing, or using the restroom.

🤧 Stay Home When Sick: If your child has symptoms like fever, cough, or fatigue, please keep them home to prevent spreading illness.

💪 Boost Immune Health: Ensure your kids get enough sleep, eat healthy foods, and stay active to strengthen their immune systems.

Reminder: In observance of MLK Day, there will be no school on Monday, January 19, 2026. We encourage families to take time to reflect, serve, and learn together. Classes will resume on Tuesday. ✨

Merry Go Round, reminders for Thursday 12/18. There is a slight chance of rain tomorrow, however we would still like to do our best to get as many students to the Merry Go Round as possible. Please ensure that students wear appropriate shoes and bring a jacket and/or rain jacket in case of a few rain drops. If the rain becomes an issue this could potentially cause some grade levels to not attend, but we will not know that until tomorrow.

💙Friendly reminder, families! Please use the “Important Dates 2026” graphic attached to plan appointments on our no-school days so students don’t miss class or incur unexcused absences. Thanks for helping keep attendance strong! 💙

Due to unforseen circumstances with a sickness, our Critter Show that was scheduled for this Thursday is going to need to be rescheduled. We have already planned for February 12th as the new date. If you have already paid, your money will be applied to this new date. If you have not paid, please hold on sending money until closer to the new date.
