JROTC = Unforgettable Experiences! The CCSD’s JROTC Cadets soared to new heights last Friday via a Blackhawk Helicopter experience at Fort Novosel (formerly Fort Rucker) at the US Army base in Dale County. It was an exhilarating flight in the UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter & provided cadets invaluable insight into both aviation and military operations for the U.S. Army. The CCSD will delay the start of school on Wednesday, January 17th by 2 hours. All schools will start 2 hours later. This step was taken due to the hard freeze warning & extreme temps as low as 13 degrees projected. The delay will make it safer for bus travel & students to get to school. Please stay safe.
